Wafer thin. We need absolute bare minimum 6 new faces - imho a top winger, striker, backup GK, 2 CMs one holding (assuming Gana goes) one more creative, and a centre half who can cover at left back. Probably 1 more defender as well. Hopefully we show a bit of ambition now that we have money to spend instead of rummaging in the Premier League's discard pile of bang average players.

We are 7-8 light.
But Keane and DCL haven’t gone yet, and Moyes being Moyes will be in for Harrison on the cheap towards the end of the window.

Also, does that include all of the loans we sent out last year? Is Holgate still on the books?

I think Hamer would a a decent signing for the right price, midfielder who can actually get goals and assists from central midfield, even in that shocking sheff utd side last season he managed 4 goals and 6 assists in the pl, 10 and 8 this season.

Also playing in a brand new 52,888 capacity stadium V playing home games at community stadium in front of 17,250 fans, how can you say that wouldnt be taken into consideration? Goodison has/had more capacity than the GTech and they still out performed us. That was my point. Stadium size doesn't ensure success..

He'd be a major upgrade on 4 assists in 3 years Jimmy Garner who people weirdly love. We've been needing creativity from central midfield for ages, he'd offer that. Kind of agree though, I don't think Moyes will want him.

Of course it’s his ability, he left Coventry 2 yrs ago and went to Sheffield Utd mate at 26. He’s now probably going too another team who’s just come up. If he was any good he woulnt have gone to sheff Utd 2 yrs ago. And he’s 5ft 7 he’s hardly a midget

He's not getting those numbers playing where Garner is, he's further up the pitch.

He'll be 28. He wasn't very good his first run in the PL, and no interest in him after that. He's not good enough.
