Not gonna lose any sleep on this one until a decision has been made. Even then I’ll wait until his full debut and judge him on his first 10 minutes: no goal = garbage, sell in Jan and get some money back. Hat-trick = next Dixie and offer him a renewed 5 year deal on £200k per week.

United sacking hundreds of staff to save money because they are skint but then go out and spend millions on a player and pay hundreds of thousands a week, if they are sacking the lowest paid people to stay afloat then they should be put on a transfer ban until the finances are sorted.

I think this is a part of the offer Everton have. If you come now, we can build a team to play to your strengths. Chelsea won't do that, Newcastle won't do that. United could, maybe, at a stretch but can you honestly see their manager being long-term, or even being willing to make that claim to Delap?
