United sacking hundreds of staff to save money because they are skint but then go out and spend millions on a player and pay hundreds of thousands a week, if they are sacking the lowest paid people to stay afloat then they should be put on a transfer ban until the finances are sorted.

Honestly not fussed if he signs or not, my 2 Ipswich mates both think he will take over from Kane as the England centre forward but they go quiet when I ask them who else is there? (One of them said Finidi George would be one of the greatest foreign players in the Premier league for context).
Delap likes to bully and bustle his way up the pitch with the ball, he’s competent with the ball at his feet and does join play but has a lot to improve, he leaves a foot in now and then and roughs up defenders but he’s absolutely nowhere near Lukaku’s ability at scoring when we got him. Does Beto score 10/11 goals for Ipswich? I think he does.

Good point BUT im not comparing Delap to Isaak...God I hope we can ALL agree that Isaak is a better player and has had a much better season than Delap...at the same time it is fair to say that not all of us are convinced that Delap is all that based on this one season and how it tailed off for him, thats all
