Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

All loanees except Charley released. Talks ongoing for him. No more Harrison phew!

….pretty much as expected, if we’re being linked with a winger it was unlikely we’d spend monies on Harrison or Lindstrom.

The loan market is something we’ve been dreadful on these past few seasons, hopefully we exploit it better now with Moyes.

15m Euros, about £12m Great British Pounds, it`s a no brainer. Young enough to have a decent sell on fee...
Agreed. It's gotta be the payment schedule and bonus' then or we're waiting for the new accounting period which is apparently mid June. I don't see how you squeeze that fee down any further considering how he's performed. If anything it's a steal.

The statement says that we are in discussions with Charly which implies that we are either persuading him to stay or trying to agree a salary.

Doesn't would like the feeling / release clause is an issue

Not that we'll ever know but be interesting to know what leverage we think we have to renegotiate the terms for Charly. The reported £15/16 million option sounds quite reasonable as is. Unless it's coming down to how much money up front, bonus' etc etc

The club statement doesn't mention anything about negotiations with Flamengo, only with Alcaraz himself.

….once the deal wasn’t automatically triggered it was always likely to involve discussions/negotiations with the 3 party’s concerned. I suspect much will be down to the player, not sure if personal terms were part of the loan agreement but he’ll feel he has a strong hand to play after yesterday.

At least we know the club wants him.
