They’ve turned out to be decent signings but based on what they’d achieved at the time they were exactly bargains

i dont have a problem if the club does bring in doak, i just want make sure esp wingers we sign will be ready to go for next season. We cant really wait to develop players in that postion out wide as we desperately need it now.

But who is ready to go and so good? No-one from PL, they are all expensive. Anyone from the continent is a risk (ask ManU about Antony or Arsenal about Pepe as two examples). If they are in their prime, their price will just drop. If they are younger, they cost even more.

Crystal Palace for instance has done some great deals for wingers from Championship. Wouldn't we all love to sign the next Eze?
