Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

He left us without a striker to start a season with and didn't resolve the right hand side issues in the team over three years.

We still need starting RB, RW & ST to this day , never mind a back up for two of these positions.

The decision was correct.
What decision was that? Becsuse no one knows whether he wasn’t offered a new contract of whether he was and declined.

He got a striker for no upfront payment Beto. We just didn’t coach him or use him properly.

A friend of mine is a huge Boro fan so often we watch the games together and I must have seen Doak at least 15 times and I have to say he is nothing like Jack Harrison except he plays the same position. Often doubled up on because of his pace. Boro missed out on the playoffs because of Doaks injurie in my opinion. I think he is a much better option than flowers at WBA although I do like Flowers

got a boro mate who said similar, said he was their standout player. very fast and tricky, both feet, got something special about him

Some solid free agents are available.

Freddie Woodman or Angus Gunn as a backup goalkeeper.
Nicolas Tagliafico or Reinildo Mandava as a new left back.
Kyle Walker-Peters, Tariq Lamptey or Vladimir Coufal as a new right back.
Angel Gomes, Mario Pasalic or Josh Brownhill as a central midfielder.

Would be decent to sign some of them to allow us to spend more on some starting 11 quality.

would take one of the keepers

KWP

Gomes

want us to spend £20m on some 22 year old french wizard off their left back production line
