Where have you seen this?Looks like we've been told we've got no chance of signing Delap. Shame as he'd have been good value for money.
In the Guardian, apparently his representatives have told clubs that he's only interested in top of the table/ clubs in Europe.Where have you seen this?
That's Man U out of the running then.In the Guardian, apparently his representatives have told clubs that he's only interested in top of the table/ clubs in Europe.

English bias ? Because he's on loan from Man City ? Might even be deliberate PR hype - I assume agents try that. Why do people keep obsessing with Delap. He hasn't even been that good this season. His goal ratio to minutes is worse than Beto. He even has a worse goals to minutes than fellow Ipswich striker George Hirst who has 0.47, Beto has 0.5 and delap has 0.42. I get that he's younger but a lot of it is just hype.
I trust Moyes to find some better option abroad or elsewhere.
It's not just the goals. His hold-up play is good. He runs the channels, his passing is good, and he's got a bit of snide about him. He would have been a perfect Everton number 9, but I'm sure he'll do well at Newcastle, which is where I think he'll go.Why do people keep obsessing with Delap. If Isaak and Wilson are still at Newcastle he won’t be going there.
I don’t think we will get him but also I’m not too bothered because I don’t think he’s the be all and end all. I think the lad Ferguson has a higher ceiling ability wise but clearly has some off pitch issues.
If he’s as good as we’re all making out then Arsenal would snap him up as they need a number 9 but I don’t want to see us in a bidding war with West Ham or Fulham and paying out a load of money for a player that the top clubs aren’t interested in.
