If we could unload a couple of youngsters for that amount each season it’s worth more than our naming rights and is all profit on the books .

It gives us much more room in the transfer market and means we don’t have to make a “big sale” in order to make a few signings
 
The big oversight for us was in January when we didn’t try for McTominay. Always played decent for United, consistent if not spectacular but had an eye for a goal as he does for Scotland. Now bossing it in a very tough league to score goals.
If there was ever a more Moyes-type player……..

They were never ever selling him in January…
Would have happily tried to get him out of United though.

Napoli paid around 30 million for him last summer . Why would they have sold him in January and how would we have paid for him?

While a great player on his day, those days are dawning although I'm sure there are a few rays of light left to shine through...pray, we must, that we excavate his 20 y/o equivalent.
