Watching this earlier, and it dawned on me that this is precisely the sort of concert or festival that could go on in the fan plaza.

I'm not scaremongering here, just what I know from lads working on it and folks at the club in areas that cross over with the build - same as I've always shared on here about it.

For example, when Everton put the video out about the badge being fitted in the changing room, that was just for looks. It took a few days to redo as the badge was damaged during the fit. Sure, its been fixed now, but even the changies need redoing in some areas. The toilets are not finished, there is damage on some of the player's seating areas, and the big table in the middle of the room is damaged too.

They are all fixes for later down the line because of the job that needs doing in the hospitality and offices.

It was only for looks, however the reasoning was different. It had been fitted long prior to the social media take, however the PR wanted it to be a 'special piece'.

So in essence, they took a part off, filmed it and put it back up again. The issue in the changing room was the hydrotherapy pool, which has been fixed.

In terms of the fit out, there have been a few issues because the fitting company weren't happy with the leeway/parameters in some areas of the build.

That's all been or being remedied.

Sort of makes sense to do the Everton branding with anything Hill-Dickinson related so if that deal was being finalised in recent weeks then they can do all of that stuff in one push.

The mocked-up image of the Hill Dickinson logo on the Western Terrace looked pretty ok to me.
