And I've been around the internet for decades. I'm more surprised at people acting shocked that this still happens.

It's not new or unique.

None of it deserved the response and I've consistently said that despite what you're attempting to claim I said instead.

Almost as if there is a level of personal responsibility to be aware of the surroundings when you're in a dangerous environment.

The Internet is the same.

The only way to guarantee you won't get hit by a car is to stay inside and the only way to guarantee you won't get nasty messages on social media is to not have it.

Yes that can easily be taken as a passive aggressive dig which doesn't take much to rile people on SM

These people shouldn't be on social media in a public way and just pay people to manage their comms

The abuse is terrible and not condoning it but unfortunately the internet brings out faceless keyboard zombies

Lol. Do we tell people to never cross a road because if they do it's their fault they were run over? Because in your analogy above that's what you're saying DCLs wife should do. It's laughable. Don't go on the internet because if you do and someone threatens to murder you and your child it's partly your own fault. Laughable.

The internet is covered by laws too, @AsiaAsia82. The problem is lack of enforcement not women having opinions.
