I'm missing something ? I have always thought Everton ( Kenwright ) wanted to sell Rooney to chelseaI like Wayne and loved watching him , his talent was glorious and I feel privileged to have watched him play . I also have been present on away games with his family and they are and have always Been massive Evertonians .
I doubt you’ll find. Single supporter of any team that would argue against you in your first point but can’t lace his boots as a Evertonian I feel like I’ll need your reasoning for that one . Rooney couldn’t wait to get out of goodison and kissed the Man U badge , not when he’d scored just because he wanted to .
What is it exactly about him that makes him such a massive Evertonian ?
Limpar was great alsoNot in the 90’s we didn’t lol
Part from Beardsley that 90’s group that were introduced were turbo gash

Lots of good players in that period, especially Royle's second season. Ferguson, Parkinson, Watson, Southall, Limpar, Kanchelskis, SpeedLimpar was great also
Tony Grant was a funny one
Think I heard Thomas Myhre's name. He was generally liked back in the day, mostly because he saved a penalty from shearer once
