But for you you it's okay if real supporters stand outside while people who probably wouldn't know the score of the last home game take seats that they could have had...
I've been going for over 50yrs and I'd happily stand outside for Walter Smith's widow to take my seat and represent him.

Hope this helps you get over it.

There was no need at all for them to have been there yesterday. They don't need their names associated with a horrible season and painful period for the club when we were at risk of folding. In fact, I'm happy they didn't want to take the attention away from simply the fans, the players and the stadium - it was beautiful.

New season, new ground, new future under new owners. They'll be seen during pre-season and definitely at the first game. As long as they do their best work in the background that's perfect.

Has Dan Friedkin attended any games at Roma recently / within the last year?

Ryan Friedkin has no role at Everton so I guess he won't be attending any games here.

It will be a bit odd if Dan can't find the time to attend first home game in August/September, but if we've had a good window by then that's what really matters. He should want to be there for that though.

It looks like they are treating us as a business without emotional attachment.
I prefer that after the last 30 odd years.
If they want their business to succeed we will have to flourish on the pitch.
For the first time in 35 years, we will be able to judge our custodians on what they DO - not on what sweet, sentimental nostalgia and poor-man piety they whisper seductively into our ears.
