2024/25 Michael Keane

The problem with Michael Keane was,to be centre half you ether outplay the centre forward or kick him out of the game.In the sixty's we had two of the centre halfs on Mersey Side Brian Labone for Everton who completely out played the forward and would hardly touch him.And for Liverpool big Ron Yates who would kick players all over park but was also a good centre half ,but Michael Kean was not one or the other.

I'd be disappointed in him personally if he stayed if offered a contract. He'd know it's a backup job and he's still a player held in his regard and will easily be able to move to a lower end Premier League team and start for them. I'd like him and DCL to go and play for Sheffield United tbh.

When you say lower end prem team you must be referring to the mancs, spurs or hammers. The ones further down won't be prem teams.

I'm not patronising him but you just can't hate him.
The joy on his face when he scored against Fulham.

Runs for cover.......

Don`t think anyone hates him tbh ( that`s reserved for Maupay ).

It`s just that everyone can see that he`s not really cut out for the Premier League and never really was.

However, that`s not his fault and a better run club than us, would`ve got rid of him along time ago, let alone gave him a new contract.
