Fixed. Such as shame as it had the chance to be great but the story and script were written by an imbecile or bad AI. Nobody, starring Odenkirk, is the best John Wick film.

Somewhat related, did you know Jason Statham was a competitive high diver and competed in the Commonwealth Games? For some reason that little factoid nugget never reached me until recently.

The Ja-man was busy filming this movie at the same time, which if you haven't seen yet, is just slightly better than 'The Beekeeper', which means you can pretty much give it a miss.


It could even work as a Rom-Com, if you really wanted it too...

I love the John Wick films. They know what they are in terms of genre and just own it.

And I would watch a film of Ana de Armas reading a book.

I enjoyed the beekeeper, I almost stopping watching A Working Man cos it was that bad.

You more or less know what you’re going to get with a Statham film, unless it's really bad, like another 'Expendables', or 'Fast and the Furious' sequel.

He's never going to be an 'accomplished, accolades winning Thespian', if you know what I mean, although I do remember someone bringing up the idea of a 'Driving Miss Daisy' remake, with Statham playing her driver, and revising his role as 'The Transporter'.

So essentially it would have been a crossover movie of both a 'Driving Miss Daisy' remake and a 'Transporter' sequel at the same time.
But it never got out of the discussion stage. Oh, well...

You know, you’re right, mate. He was retired. He was living a nice life with his dog. All weapons buried under concrete. And he could’ve kept going like that. Maybe could’ve joined a retirement community and picked up gin rummy or pickleball. Taken up painting. Maybe learn pottery. But then Theon kills his dog. Fast forward…four movies later.

I'm conflicted with spacey, I've happily vilified will smith for seemingly less than spaceys been responsible for. There's only enemy of the state I'd really miss there, but a world with no se7en, and usuals, and GGGR, american beauty, la confidential, it's such a stellar list of great films.
