I genuinely used to love the originals as a kid.
Yeah, I hear what you're saying but there's still magic in them for me, we're watching Empire now over brekky, Vader is at his most menacing and when Yoda first turns up he still makes me chuckle.I genuinely used to love the originals as a kid.
And a few years ago having not watched any of them for years, I decided to give the series a go in chronological order and convinced my wife sheād enjoy it.
After getting through the prequels I couldnāt wait to start episode 4. The acting and dialogue throughout the original trilogy was awful. Like shockingly bad.
My wife kept saying how crap they were and I was finding it harder and harder to defend them with every scene.
Most overrated film franchise of all time. Ball-achingly dull and a shameless toy selling machine by the time the little bears were introduced.
Oh look itās a neon erection!! Enjoy virgins.
I agree on Rogue One. Quality film.Yeah, I hear what you're saying but there's still magic in them for me, we're watching Empire now over brekky, Vader is at his most menacing and when Yoda first turns up he still makes me chuckle.
And the acting and dialogue in the prequels is dreadful, apart from Ian McDiarmid being utterly fantastic throughout.
Taking all nostalgia out of the equation, Rogue One is objectively the best entry in the whole thing.
But as it was thereād be a scene on and Iād think "this will show her how good they are" and then Luke would say something proper goofy and it ruined it.
At least George Lucas got it right when he asked someone else to make Howard the Duck, this lazy little green scrotum-faced turd shows what you would look like after a lifetime of furious masturbation, dressed in an original generation one T shirt thatās 4 sizes too small. Grown men playing with a light sabre ffsā¦
Empire strikes back then Rogue One by some distance the rest are varying degrees of okay with Episode 8 the last Jedi bottom.Yeah, I hear what you're saying but there's still magic in them for me, we're watching Empire now over brekky, Vader is at his most menacing and when Yoda first turns up he still makes me chuckle.
