Just watching Messi he’s playing in against Vancouver Whitecaps, 50k there , last time Miami played in in Vancouver he never showed up and 40,000 plus bought tickets to watch him and he was a no show
Saw Houston Dynamo boosted the prices the week they played Miami. He never even travelled so the Dynamo gave the fans tickets to an additional game as well to compensate.....

PSG lost to Nice 1-3 in Paris, there's a squad depth issue outside of the halcyon clubs. State owned clubs are now ten a penny, but they still can't bankroll them in every country.

That'll be a first, when the saudi's win leagues in the same season in Italy, Germany, Spain, France and England.

If it does burst, it'll end up like French football.

Yeah, it would definitely carry a lot of downsides as well. I'm also a bit more neutral towards this since I'm German. I'm immensely glad that the Bundesliga is largely resisting the greed and expansionism of modern football (even though I don't even support a German team since Everton is my only club). I know a lot of people, especially in England, belittle the Bundesliga and fair enough, there are problems in the Bundesliga as well. But the "product" (horrible word but don't know what else to use) is phenomenal. Mostly affordable ticket prices, good to great atmospheres, aesthetically pleasing football, a larger fraction of players who care about the clubs they are playing for.

Most of this is lacking in the PL. It's getting out of hand. I love watching football as a neutral and I watch a lot on weekends. I watch Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga but I never ever watch the PL outside of Everton games because the state of it all disgusts me. Overpaid players who only care about themselves, chaotic end-to-end football with no sense of tactical prowess, horrendous and almost overtly biased commentators and pundits, shocking refereeing, clubs playing in national team kits of oppressive far away countries, championships decided by the state budget of far away oppressive countries and so on and so forth.

I realize that this would also come to the great detriment of cities and "regular workers" at the clubs so on that level I of course don't hope that the bubble bursts. But for the football itself it wouldn't be the worst thing.

We’re the famous Crystal Palace and we’re going to Wembley,
Wem ber ley Wem Ber Ley!
etc etc.”

Threat of Villa?? Pah!

..though maybe ask again tomorrow…
C'mon Palace! I tipped Palace and Bournemouth from round 3. Memories of Ian Wright coming off the bench in 1990. It would be great to see them win a trophy, they've been a well run and entertaining club for a while now and they've had a few results over City as well if it ends up with the 2 of them in the final.
