Just doing a bit of digging into this investment, apparently this dud will:

"Sarofim has joined Everton’s ownership group, Roundhouse Capital, and will be given an observer position on the football club’s board".

That tells me this is a significant investment.

Dan Friedkin, TFG’s chairman and CEO, said:

“Christopher Sarofim is someone I have known and respected for many years. He brings experience, sound judgment and wisdom that will be valuable as we continue to drive the club forward in all areas.”

It was mentioned not so long ago they would be looking for more investors to come aboard.

The more contacts and financial clout involved with the club the better.

According to the Guardian mate:

"Sarofim is the first new investor to join Everton’s ownership group, but more are expected. TFG is understood to be targeting investors with specific skillsets and contacts rather than celebrity investors to attract attention in a model favoured by other American owners."

Does sound more like TFG protecting / hedging their investment more than Dan’s billionaire buddy’s doing a whip.

Can only be positive for us this.

According to the Gaurdian :

" Sarofim came to know of Everton when he heard that his hero Mo Salah plays his football a few miles away from Goodison Park. He can't wait to attend his first game when Everton entertain Liverpool at it's new stadium next season "

In the Times:

"Sarofim a known admirer of Sean Dyche, was somewhat dismayed to learn post his multi million pound investment, that Dyche and Everton had parted ways. Undeterred Sarofim intends to re- instil Dyche's philopeshey, of getting lads back on the grass, ensuring no effort is left wanting in getting players, Premier League Fit, Fit and continue the work that Dyche had started in changing Everton's Story".
