No because he’s a good boy and listens to the teacher and works hard, so forget talent just run all day and you have a chance in a Moyes Everton side.Is he equally furious with Doucoure for giving the ball away 48 times a game?

I think the issue is when you're a very limited side like we are you have to be careful with the ball when you're in an attacking shape, because if teams break on us we're horribly exposed. We've conceded a lot of goals in the last 3 or 4 years from careless passing, sometimes up to 35 yards out from the opposition goal because we don't have the pace in the team to recover from an unexpected turnover. Whilst this is the case, the manager will always favour safety first passing for the most part, or dribbling, as a player losing the ball to an opponent doesn't expose the team as much as a risky pass does
How have the rs won the league this year ( and please don't say it's all down to the officials), and why have City dropped off this year? Because they work hard and run all day. This is modern football, running up and down the pitch for 100 minutes is the starting point for every player, and if you can't do that then the amount of talent you have is irrelevant. Players like Le Tissier or Glenn Hoddle would struggle these days as athleticism is valued over most other attributes. No because he’s a good boy and listens to the teacher and works hard, so forget talent just run all day and you have a chance in a Moyes Everton side.
Doucoure has credit in the bank, and Moyes clearly doesn't rate Alcaraz. It is what it is. It's not like Gordon Lee refusing to play Duncan McKenzie, Alcaraz isn't all that.Doucoure loses the ball multiple times a game and Alcaraz is superior to him at 10.
So out on the left flank Alcaraz lost the ball once and somehow thats worth speaking about in the media.
All because Moyes picked the wrong players.

I don't watch them in training, but that's where you impress a manager. I'm not saying Alcaraz has had a chance to bank credit I'm just saying Doucoure has it. Doucoure is a limited footballer but managers like Dyche and Moyes value him and if you're going to succeed as a flair player in their team you have to show a work rate.Sorry how do you bank credit if you’re not allowed to play? The last game Alcaraz started ahead of Doucoure in the number 10 role he won us the game with a goal and an assist. What exactly does “credit in the bank” look like?
Alcaraz is a better footballer than Doucoure, I’m sure his career will bear that out.
Alcaraz might be better technically but he doesn’t look like he’s got the attitude to match it.Sorry how do you bank credit if you’re not allowed to play? Turning it in because you’re being asked to play wide is horrendous form. We wouldn’t have had Pienaar or Arteta if that was the norm. Yes he’s clearly happier centrally, but do your job properly and you’ll get a chance there.
Having a strop because you’ve been asked to play slightly out of position whilst you’re trying to earn a move isn’t exactly how I would go about it.

I think if he’d really applied himself and worked hard out there he’d get the chance in the next two home games. You might be right though. This isn’t true either is it? He’s going to play Doucoure regardless.
I dunno, if I really wanted the move I’d be absolutely working my arse off in training and in games. As above, it really doesn’t matter what he does in training because Moyes is going to play Doucoure regardless. I wouldn’t be busting a gut in training either if I knew it was a pointless and fruitless endeavour.
This is the one major criticism I have of Moyes. He is unhealthily stubborn and can’t be seen to be not in control of something. The fact Alcaraz was signed on terms that he hadn’t agreed to by the DOF has never sat right with him. This is a power play to show he’s in control.

First few out of position you couldn’t fault him really, he looked uncomfortable but he was grafting.
Last few he’s dialled it in which I can’t excuse to be fair. I can understand what you’re saying, but regardless of where you play you have to be prepared to put a shift in.
Broja was awful for that yesterday too.
Well I don’t see the word “furious” in there, and having watched the post-match press conference myself I can say there was no hint of fury. Not really if there’s direct quotes there no.
