The only reason this Keane thread is getting battered again is that all the Moyes believers want to deflect from the appalling job he did today.

Neither goal was Keane's mistake. First goal was down to Branthwaite dawdling by appealing for off side rather than getting across that near post area to cut out the cross coming in; second goal was down to Garner and Iroegbunam failing to pick up Kovacic on the edge of the box.

He did fail to deal with a punt upfield and that was it.

Scapegoated to allow Moyes to get away with his appalling 'tactics' and substitutes.

So what you are saying is, if Moyes would have put JOB CB and brought on Patto, it would have made a difference?

Interesting.

Mad the difference in how you post in this thread versus the Patterson one

Entire teams collective hoop started fluttering the minute this Jonah was subbed on.
Poor pass Bailed out by Jake.
Had no idea where the ball was bouncing - bailed out by Pickford and Jake.
Poor clearance - Bailed out by Branthwaite.

First 15 minutes.

Final 20 minutes they just could not cope having to cover for him and conceded two goals.

Thank goodness we did not have to win to avoid relegation.

No. O'Brien to CB and Young to RB gives us a better chance.

Keane was about zero % why we lost today. Look to the dugout for the reason we lost. Another appalling non-performance from the 'Moyesiah'.
I mean you say another, we have lost 3 games to some pretty good teams, won away loads, days like today are the exception, not the norm.

I blame Blue Kenwright for his reign of terror on us

Blue Bill once compared him to Brian Labone before handing him a five year contract.

Mr Kenwright said: “Michael has been a class act and what he has done this season epitomises Blueblood.

“He has taken hold of his place in the Football Club and established himself as a true Everton centre-half. Blueblood has to have heart, character, resilience and a massive amount of talent. And he has all of those.

But Michael is a centre-back in the Brian Labone mould – and I promise you, it doesn’t get bigger than Brian Labone for me.”

An insult to Labone that

Mate nobody in the ground had any confidence in him including his own team mates. As soon as he came on we fell apart!
