Hypothetical question time...

If carlo is available in the summer, would you hand moyes a thank you envelope and bring him back?

Seeing as we should be in a position to back home the way mosh promised first time
No I wouldn’t. Didn’t like the way he sneaked off to Madrid 3 weeks after slagging their president off over the European league BS.

Wouldn’t want him here again as he has no loyalty.

If you go back to Keanes last 7 starts we only conceded 4 goals. Keane is very much a confidence player and having been out of the team for so long it wasn't ideal putting him in against City of all teams. I'm not making excuses but he is what he is. Keane has done well for us in spells and done really badly in spells.

Overall: I doubt his ambition.

What I dont doubt is his ability to get us safe next season. Then again, I personally dont think we'll ever go down, so maybe the cost of keeping him is too high on that score.

If TFG are serious about moving us to another level they'll punt Moyes and try and bring in one of the men they no doubt had lined up prior to Dyche being sacked.

I still think it would have been better to just experiment with Branners and Jakey in a partnership. Keane won't be here next year. I'm not going to pile on Keane. But he is gone. No reason to bring him in.

If we’d have drawn both last week’s game and today’s game 0-0, think everyone would have been pretty pleased with that. The way it’s happened, we’ve got 1 extra point. As long as we’re safe, the last few games are pretty meaningless apart from saying goodbye to Goodison.

That isn’t going to happen though, there’s no demand for it and it would blow half the transfer budget. Moyes will 100% be here next season.

I don’t doubt his ambition. He won a European cup .
I think we should all see what will happen when Moyes gets his own players in and he won’t even have to put players like Keane on the bench . If he’s backed by the board over summer then he’s fair game .
