ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Konate, Allison, Diaz, they’ll all want parity or something close in their next renewal. If they want to sign a superstar like Isaak he’ll be demanding that.
They`ve been very clever in the past about keeping their wage bill under control. I think they`re picking the wrong time to start flashing the cash with the likes of Newcastle and Villa getting a taste for the CL, the RS might find that their usual CL slot is harder to secure and good luck to them paying 400k a week for a Europa League season or worse.

Excellent news that VD is staying another two years. I look forward.... to seeing him being turned inside out by players like Beto....howlers in the box....lack of spatial awareness.... his resultant smacked arse face.

Makes you wonder what saga 'Song & Dance FC' will conjure up next.
Hopefully, something on the lines of some other RS "besiest in theeee wiiiirld" greed merchants having their cages rattled and mutiny is in the air.

Also Van Dijk when he’s not on the juice is absolute comedy gold. People were calling him Van Disney a few seasons ago when he was cycling off and he’ll have only got worse. 400k a week for a bloke to stand bent over with his backside sticking out miles outside the area trying to defend with his ‘aura’.

400K a week for 2 years for a 33 year old CB who was getting rinsed by Beto a few weeks ago. I’m not sure what data model they’re using to make decisions now but this doesn’t smack of ruthless decision making.

Sentimental fc bowing to the baying mob desperate to keep the last dance going a bit longer.

lol that they timed the press releases for the contracts after Arsenal’s wins. Literally can’t keep themselves out the spot light for a second. Me me me.

My missus said its fine though, as he hasn't asked for a pay rise as he was already on 400k a week anyway

Bless 😆 🤣 😂
