Wouldn't believe sharpes version of events. The dog with one man is probably a more reliable narrator.
Doesn't that also depend on your fellow players, and the management/coaching staff? Not if the top of his game remains mid to lower PL level. I love him, but he’s needs trophies to enter the conversation with Southall. The top of his game was European trophies, league titles, and FA Cups.
That said, Pickford’s loyalty is endearing, but you never get kudos for that in tne harsh world of the greatness stakes without medals.
Behind Neville there is a blue plaque "Jamie carragher forever a blue"Hmm, there's a noticeable absentee...
Not at club level, no. The best players can pick the best clubs. I think Pickford can pick trophy-contending clubs, too, by the way. I'm pleased he hasn't - but I'm more hoping that he won't have to and can win trophies with us now too. That HAS to be the aim.Doesn't that also depend on your fellow players, and the management/coaching staff?
Not a chance, pickers is good, southall was bloody brilliant..I think he'll have a longer career at the top of his game,so in years to come maybe that perception will change?
Southall did have a far better team in front of him. Some blue tinted glasses,at the end of his time Southall was very average. The 2-6 game v QPR he didn't look that bothered. Not if the top of his game remains mid to lower PL level. I love him, but he’s needs trophies to enter the conversation with Southall. Hopefully he can shoot Chelsea down next.Moist Kean scored the winning goal for Fiorentina tonight in the Vauxhall Conference.
Can vaguely remember him struggling under Mike Walker and then had a bit of a renaissance after Royle took over. I think he got man of the match for us in the cup final if I remember rightlySouthall did have a far better team in front of him. Dave Watson official MOTM. imo it was David Unsworth, Southall had a good game though. Can vaguely remember him struggling under Mike Walker and then had a bit of a renaissance after Royle took over. I think he got man of the match for us in the cup final if I remember rightly

Neville had a very good game, but by his standards that wasn't surprising. He'd started to put on a bit of weight by then which got more pronounced towards the end of his time at Everton. He kept us up single handed some seasons though, always be grateful he stayed on the sinking ship.Watson got the official one, but nearly every other opinion had Southall as. Trevor Booking (if I recall right) had a brain fart that day...
Seem to remember him driving home straight after the final not going to the after match celebrationsCan vaguely remember him struggling under Mike Walker and then had a bit of a renaissance after Royle took over. I think he got man of the match for us in the cup final if I remember rightly
