New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

They should ban the vendors for charging £6.20 for a cheese and onion pie.

I'd rather eat my own 💩 than pay that.

Always said and it includes restaurants, pubs etc, I don't mind paying a bit more if the food is more enjoyable. The food or beer at Goodison was usually at a poor standard, you get what you pay for in most cases. I had the salt an pepper chicken an chips at Bramley Moore, though on the smallish size was really nice. Haven't sampled the beer yet on draught so I'll wait and see.

That's great that there's better food. And if people are willing to spend that on small portions and they also rationalise it by saying 'it goes to the club' (although I'm not sure how much involved they are on catering and whether they get a set revenue from vendors regardless of how much they sell). But they also deny people bringing anything into the grounds of the stadium of their own. It's mean spirited and I doubt it'll be able to be enforced when there's rip off prices getting charged in the stadium.

I'd happily pay that for a decent pie if this is what you get up and down the country.

With the greatest of respect just because you're uncomfortable with paying,it's doesn't mean others are.

Am more than happy with the food offering and pricing at BM.

The price only becomes an issue when it's the only choice there is - apart from having f.a. to eat at the game. That's where we are given Everton's insistence on snatching sweets and crisps and nuts off people entering the stadium.

The Head of Customer Experience (ran O2 for years and was involved in Spurs’ stadium opening), said we hadn’t done the beer contract yet. He said that every contract they are doing has to have at least a local element so I hope a local craft brewery gets a look in. The cutlery and plates comes from the Wirral.

I get that Dave, but if you want a chippy before the game eat it outside, nothing worse than cold chips. Sure we've all carried a pie an chips around before going into the ground.

As long as it's better than the awful draught lager on offer at Goodison I'm fine with that.
