TV Series

Just finished series 2 of Severance and I agree with a lot of what other people have posted already.

From episode four to episode nine it`s just muddled.

I know it`s designed to be a head bender and the acting is flawless, but it just wanders all over the place and as a result, it becomes really hard to focus on what`s going on.

I`m glad I watched it, but it`s not as good as the first ( imo )
Finished season 2 last night, agree with everything you’ve said there.
Me and the missus had no clue what was happening for the majority of the time. Decent final episode though, and made some kind of sense in the end.

Got hooked on Cold Summer, Walter Presents on C4 and on demand. Italian cops v Mafia series, set in the 90’s and subtitled. A lot slower and less action packed than Gomorrah, but enjoyable if you can live with subtitles.

Just watched hotel reviere was okay, but had a bit of a san junipero rewrite feel to me.
I think that’s the point, each of these episodes seem to tie into others as either a prequel or a sequel. The fact that Brandy in Hotel Reverie lived on San Junipero drive and the computer driving the Redream tech was a TCKR machine which is the tech behind the San Junipero episode gives that theory a bit of credence.

Ok cheers, need something new to watch so will give it a go

I`m three episodes into Black Snow and think it`s very good, very like another outstanding Aussie Crime Drama - Mystery Road.

I you like Black Snow, I highly recommend watching Mystery Road afterwards, on BBC Iplayer.

Two series, set in the Australian outback, the outstanding Aaron Pederson, plays Jay Swan, a mixed race Aboriginal detective, who investigates the murder and cover up of an young Aboriginal girl, in a hick racist outback town.

One of my favourite all time crime dramas.

I watched till episode 2 last night, liking it so far, some of the acting a bit iffy but it's quite dark and I fancy the cop so all good 😆

He`s a great actor and I`ll pretty watch anything he`s in.

It`s quite common in these Aussie crime dramas, to use local Aboriginal people, who`ve never acted before or have only done bits and pieces, to try and show how life really is, in the rural outback towns, hence why the acting can be a bit iffy sometimes.

Thought that might be the case, at least they giving them a chance

Can't see this on the iplayer, is it called something else in the UK?
