The problem is there wouldn’t be much of a war chest if Moyes goes because millions (maybe more than £10 million) would be needed to pay him off.

Also, I’m not sure I want a manager just to want to come for a big salary.

The goal for Moyes when he came in was to keep us up and he’s done that comfortably, I doubt results from now will play much of a part as to whether he stays or goes. Everyone is hopefully already planning for summer.
We are no strangers paying top money for managers , have a look what Dyche was on.

Friedkin doesn't think twice about sacking managers if the results arnt good either.

So best hope Moyes keeps the team's points tally going & us progressing.

It will make no difference who the manager is if we don’t overhaul the squad in the summer, I’d hope and expect the Friedkins are planning to put every penny towards that rather than an unnecessary manager search. Results from now until the end of the season are not very important other than hopefully a win or two at Goodison before we leave, it’s all about planning for next season.

Oh I want the very best mate make no mistake , but if we have a strong finish to the season I just don't see Friedkin sacking him.

I wouldn't shed a tear mind .
If a top class manager becomes available & achievable we should do it in any circumstances.
Not enough of them to go around. What are we going to do, hire Klopp? That would be interesting. Still can't believe I woke up one morning to Ancelotti. What a mismatch of ability and pieces in the Lego box to work with.

I say keep Davey, let him take us back to Europe, and figure out next steps afterward. He does work in the bargain bin, and reality is we're still shopping there. The price tags are just larger, these days. He'll never make us the kind of force we want to be, but he can clear rubble and lay a foundation. That's what we need, in this moment. I'll take a thin squad with a real first XI right now, thanks.

Any goodwill he’s built up since he came in will soon evaporate. What on earth is there to be learned from Doucoure? Alcaraz HAS to be played to see if it’s worth buying him! Baffling.

If you can, watch the match today, Doucoure is in because he's the only 6 footer we have in the middle, we require some physicality, and playing the ball up to Gana to win headers is probably going to end rather badly. Silky skills and super sprints are all well and good, but if you're facing a side full of giants then they'll grockodile you to death.

Seriously if he keeps on with these team selections though. Doucoure, and bloody Harrison?
Thats the team he's picked and thats that.

We're 6th in the some form since he's come in.

People wanting him legged for playing Doucoure and Harrison is absolute madness.

Not one blue could tell you where a win was coming from under Dyche but Moyes comes in and in 7 weeks makes the club safe.

Some Blues need to grow up, seriously.
