My Grandson has just switched his place for swimming lessons, so now every Friday I get to spend 30minutes just looking over the River with the Stadium so close I can touch it.

Looking at the latest ground vid, done a bit of a close up of Everton Way, and one of the giants still partly covered, well his first name is Tommy, I'm answering a guess that it's Tommy Wright, great right back in the day.

It doesn’t take any gloss off it at all! Seriously who would care? Would it take the gloss off for you if we won it next year and the competition didn’t have their best season? You either win it or you don’t, it’s really that simple. They’ll have another league title added to their honours list.

“Do you think this Liverpool team would have beaten Man City from last year?” Again, who cares? The team that finishes top every year become champions! That’s the way it works and everything else is completely irrelevant. Let’s not all try and find ways of devaluing their title just because of jealousy and bitterness. …I’m hoping mine is a bit away from Unsworth and Duncan Ferguson, happy with any others.

I get why ferguson is there, won a cup, club talisman.
But Unsworth??? I mean he was alright I suppose but I could probably list countless players that won't make it on there and should before him.

The fact that the EVERTON is off center means I cant even look at it.
Took me months to get used to the vents in the barrels not matching up
or some of the random seat placements.
Probably a 'me' problem

…I think Unsworth played in the ‘95 FA Cup win, I wonder if it’s also accounting for his time as coach and caretaker manager. Jimmy Gabriel, John Hurst, Johnny Morrissey et al, all contributed so much more and were top footballers.
