Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We are truly and I mean truly, horrific in the final 3rd. Our decision making and pass selection simply frustrates time & time again. Defensively excellent again tonight but we’ve let another team off as we’re just plop in an attacking sense. We will gain another 10-15 points next season, simply by not playing Doucoure, Harrison, Beto etc. So crucial to get in decent, effective, pacey players in the attacking 3rd this summer.

If Ashley Young is anywhere near our squad next season then the transfer window will have been a failure and that’s no slight on Young’s ability, it’s just that bringing on a nearly 40 year old full back to try and get us back into a derby is ridiculous and indicative of how badly we’ve been ran in recent years.

We always make bad decisions in the transfer market.....
I honestly believe some of our fans on here are better judges of players than our actual scouts managers directors of football etc....
Elanga.. Hudson Odi ...Gyorkes etc etc etc...all got mentioned on here and went to lesser clubs than us for a combined total of £30 million..ish!!!!

Put prime Barkley Mirallas Lukaku at the top of this team and it would absolutely rocket up the league.

It would be typical Everton though that we’ll sort ourselves out and all the top clubs will suddenly be good again

Which existing players would you keep around the top?

Ndiaye & Alcaraz in a front 4?

Wanted to know how revenue from the stadium can be used to finance this summer as clearly unlike you I'm not au fait with how finances of that magnitude work
We would use the increased revenue from moving into the stadium to finance purchases in the summer, since we can spend a lot more under PSR

A front 3 of beto , doucoure and harrison will do that...

I'm confused. No need to explain.
According to Dave Powell, who’s a financial expert, this financial year 24/25 Which only has a couple of months to go, shouldn’t be an issue, obviously there was talk of a small payment before June 30th so not so sure on that, but we won’t find out about that year till next April. From July 1st it’s a new financial year, which runs to June 30th 2026, we wont know about that financial year until 2 yrs from now April 27

Also by that time our biggest lose year 22/23 of 89mil drops off. Also by then PSR will be no more, so I full expect us to spend money from July 1st
