I usually sh1t myself for these derby games expecting a pumping and turning phone off for three days afterwards and also any pressure relegation games Everton are in and it's getting worse as I get older. I don't feel too bad for this one and may watch it until we go a goal down. Last time I felt like this was the Pickford one and I was blissfully unaware what had happened after I stopped watching after 90 mins thinking it was 0-0. But we got nothing to lose and should go for them and not sit back and invite them on.

Never been so calm about a derby.

Don't fancy us, but I see a 0-0.
I was calm, but with 2 hours to go I'm a bit pooey. Not 'Harry Dunne broken toilet' levels like pre-Bournemouth 2 years ago, but yeah getting tasty.

I do feel like three derbies unbeaten (including one at Anfield) would be quite a statement. I mean we went nine unbeaten in the 90s, even with old man moustache, the Ulrika beater, their precious whitewash snorter and (later) the dirty, overrated cestrian midget up front.

Who did we have? Phony Thomas, Mitch Who and Carl sodding Tiler. And yet they still shat it time after time when we rolled up. All went wrong after that Poll screw up with Hutchison, around the time slippy was coming of age.

We really should have done something similar after the Gosling derby. That night felt like a real sea change, coming after two Anfield draws. But no, just the one win in the Woy/Kenny II/Rodgers era, against an RS side that (but for 13/14) made Evans' lot look like prime Barca. Pathetic.

Come on lads, let's finally start acting like a side that has the best stadium in the city...

Like others have said I’m strangely calm about this game. Maybe it’s because the last few seasons being threatened with relegation were so bad but now there is a more positive outlook going forward.
Anyway, hopefully we can get a result and the more controversial the better ;)

A lot depends on how Mr 'risk averse' Moyes sets us up. He's done a great job thus far, but let's not forget his history of bottling the big away games. We haven't won here in front of a crows for 28 years ffs! I'd opt not too play any 'out of contract' players, but obviously doucs will be shoehorned in.
