Why?I’d keep Tarkowski and Beto.
Why?I’d keep Tarkowski and Beto.
Because we have more pressing needs in other areas and not enough cash to work with in the summer to fill every position we need. Keep Beto under the condition we bring in better strikers to challenge him or start ahead of him and he could be a great sub. But we’re not where we need to be yet. Another year or two to sort all positions out. Just my opinion. Why?
I agree it's a juggling game given finances but if we are going to win anything then we need better players than Beto. I wish I was joking but..
DCL and Moyes have had a big bust up over his future as well as recovery process.
DCL has rejected Everton advice with regards to his recovery over his agency and their advice.
Already pretty much accepted he will go mainly because of the money he wants, is a chance he can go to another club and get back in the goals. But has done nothing to convince me he is worth a new deal for over 100 a week. Wish him well with and hopefully moves to italy or somewhere outside the premI wish I was joking but..

We are never going to win anything with them
Absolutely agree with you. Believe me. We need upgrades in every position. But financial freedom is going to take time. So in a rebuild you have to be precise and make fewer and more well-informed decisions so that the following season you’re higher up the table and bringing in more money.
Right now, the temptation is to clear house. It would be a tragic mistake that would leave us vulnerable. For now, we have to accept we have champagne and caviar taste on a beer and beans budget.
Wasn't it a three year deal he signed? I think he's out of contract in June 26.Tarks signed a five year deal didn't he so still has two years left and no one is coming in to sign him for a decent fee at his age so think he'll just continue starting until form dictates otherwise.
Again Beto cooling off now so don't expect him to be first choice but he at least has shown he can have a period where he scores for 3-4 games to win points. Will need three strikers again so expect him to be a back up and then be sold next summer.

I'm not sure they would. Not because he's not a good player but Burnley have conceded an unbelievable 11 goals in 38 games. I'm not sure defenders will be top of their transfer priority list should they be promoted. You're right, four year deal. I'm sure Burnley would have him back tomorrow but imagine he'll stay here and form will depend on whether he's offered fresh terms as J O'B will surely be given a run centrally at some point next season.
True but when you see the likes of Villa, Bournemouth, Forest turning things around in a relatively short space of time, good decisions at a club can rocket you up the league. Especially considering how poor Man United and Spurs have been. Man City falling apart and Chelsea being so inconsistentWe are miles away from even thinking about winning anything.
I’ll just get this out there ‘cos I’ll feel better afterwards…Even so it shouldn't be as big a drama as if that had happened three years back.
The form has been good without him and he scores about five a season so fresh start is needed for both parties.
