Very interesting read, thanks for posting.
Would love us to buy Nelson Dock - and Salisbury Dock with the docker's clock if we're getting greedy.
Would be helpful to partially fill it in to allow for a wider walkway behind the South Stand. At some point some lids are going to end up falling in after a game or jumping in for a swim.
Using tax payers money in a country where he's doesn't pay tax.Love that line about money from gov should be going to Liverpool before anywhere else as it’s ready for it. Radcliffe trying to build something using tax payer money for the benefit if Utd is beyond an insult.
Richest club in the world leeching off taxpayers for the infrastructure.Using tax payers money in a country where he's doesn't pay tax.
Always felt like it wouldn’t be big enough as soon as it was mooted. Yes it’s bigger than what we have, but if the ambition is to be at the top, we will very quickly be falling behind again when Newcastle are mooting 65-70k etc for a new stadium.is there any reason its 52,800? really like we shulde be closer to 60 and im sure a higher figure was always mooted
Doesn’t stop me wanting it!That would just bring up maintenance costs. Peel need to sort it out. just imagine if the walls/gates of the dock needed repairing...![]()

Block 200 showing the green dot on the ST map, drill down nothing there!
Was that block even released anyway
To stop others building Skyscrapers and other hideous buildings that would over shadow the New stadium is my guess. What would we want with Nelson Dock?
I agree, but this is not a bad 'substitute' like...I think the stadium site diminishes significantly if Nelson Dock gets filled.
We can build around it, but I want that water kept.
Imagine losing this:

Who said it is?C’mon
Stadium capacity is not a precursor for success.
Not bothered what Newcastle do anyway
Demand allows them to increase the price.Who said it is?
Ultimately though, the demand is there (by the fact we had a 30k waiting list) and if the ambition is to be at the top, that demand will only increase.
Newcastle was just an example.
