I think Tuchel has little interest in building anything - he's thinking only about the World Cup (how the hell is that 'next year' already?)

I think that explains the inclusion of the old and experienced (Henderson, Walker, Kane) over some of the younger options like Branthwaite.
 
My concern is that this is England encouraging Branthwaite to leave. We all know your chances of getting picked improve if you’re playing for certain clubs.

Not that bothered about England myself, but Jarrad will be. Picking Dan Burn who will be 34 at the next World Cup is a bit insane.
 

I’m glad he hasn’t been picked because some Albanian grock would’ve flattened him and put him out for the season.

If Transfermarkt is correct Branthwaite has 2 years left on his contract but Everton can extend as you would expect for a further year. Hopefully before Summer 2026 we will have a new contract agreed with him.

Kane has 32 goals in 36 games this season what manager wouldn't include him 🤣

I know he had critics during last Euros but cmon lol
