Just back after a long day down to the Granite City , a nice lunch and then “ Bat out of Hell” in the theatre. An amazing show, every aspect was excellent, but then I was a big Meat Loaf fan in the late 70s and 80 s . The songs were so well put together into the show , it was seamless and all fitted in at the correct time. It wasn’t until I just read the programme notes that I found out that this was Jim Steinman’s original project , having an idea for a musical then writing songs that would fit. Well worth seeing if you’re a fan of Meat and Steinman’s work.
Hi folks. I got my car back today - I am now considerably poorer than I was this morning. Good job I can do overtime at the weekend! I went to aqua aerobics tonight- I have missed not going while car has been in the garage.
Other than that, nothing to report. I'm hoping to see the lunar eclipse tomorrow morning either when the cat wants to go out or when I get up and take Mr F to work.

I tried but got distracted when the deer went past ,it is daylight here at that time so not quite what I was hoping for .A partial one later in the year I think.

I certainly get the luck ,I couldn't jailbreak the windows laptop but got another from the red and it doesn't bloody work two keys are dead and one is "@" so I cannot sign in to anything the Windows version is older than me ! and it cannot find the Ext. HD to put his photos on so I can do a reset !
Undeterred I will persuade him to let me bin the lot and try again.

Morning all, frosty start here but thankfully not as cold as @blue1948 but then again we are not lucky enough to have deer in our garden. Apologies if you are about to eat breakfast - I have to go for ear wax removal this morning as industrial amounts of olive oil etc have failed to do the trick. As this is no longer performed on the NHS it’s going to cost £60, what can you do but pay up and look big?

St Patrick’s Day festivities started last night for me with an interactive lecture on local history. Fascinating to hear of times past and what life was like in my town in the 17th century onwards. Many pints were had and I think we all learned something new along the way.
Tonight was an early Irish Dance display and an open session later. I’ll be in Kerry tomorrow for the Armagh game but will still get to see our game first- VERY early start though.
Sunday is back home and into another open session. And then we have the big day itself
