We’re not mathematically safe mate, no

However, we’re 16 points clear and we’re almost in the middle of March

We shouldn’t be resting on any laurels, but I don’t think we need to be worrying too much either

Just focus on winning as many games as possible and the table will be what it is

I’ll start worrying when Leicester have won their 4th game on the spin after we’ve just lost our 4th.

100%

We should be looking up the table at what we can achieve and not down to what we want to avoid.

So it currently looks like Wolves, Palace, Saints, Ipswich and us, with possibly Leicester and West Ham having to look over their shoulder if they go on bad runs?

Hopefully we can be better than three of those when all is said and done

Shows how bad Leicester have dropped off since sacking Cooper that I didn’t really think they were in it back in October

Bringing in RVN has been an absolute DISASTER for them

Frustrating in a way

You think back to 2022/23, where we were scrapping with Leeds and Leicester up to the final day in a really tense and difficult survival season

Meanwhile, wolves are basically staying up by default thanks to Leicester’s ineptitude and Ipswich just not having a strong enough squad

I hope they appreciate how lucky they’ve been when the season is through

Ipswich have spent some serious money on players this season too and have a very good striker.

This all seems to have been forgotten by the pundits and media, who seem to think that McKenna is the next Pep for some reason.

Bottom three doesn't change.

Something like 4 or 5 of the last 7 seasons has seen the bottom three accumulate the lowest points tallies in Prem history.

Gap widening.

Everton safe now under Moyes, the question is how high?

I think it shows the inflation in transfer fees that you can spend money and still have such a weak team

You have to spend so much coming up just to have the slightest chance of being competitive, and then those players need to bed in and be PL quality

Mrs BR treating me to this for my 60th. Tickets hotel and flights booked. Only problems with is the KO moving to 12.30. We land at JLA around 9.30 so pretty tight to drop bags at hotel and get to ground but should be ok as long as no delays.
Just make sure the hotel you are staying in have a place to drop bags off. There are quite a few hotels in Liverpool that won't take bags if its before check in time which can be a major pain in the rear esp if your in a rush for an early game

Although it is good that we are unbeaten - we aren't getting any higher with draws.

With NDiaye injured are we missing that X-factor to get significantly more now ?

Definitely.

But then it's also opportunity for Charly and gives Beto his moment too.

Lindstrom and Harrison look lightweight for the Prem, but again it's a great moment for players to step in/up and sat they wanna be here.

Harrison got his goal v wolves..

Lindstrom is playing a few better passes.

Maybe we get a better look at chermiti and some of the other fringe squad now thanks to the last 6 weeks.
