Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Could Ait Nouri work behind Ndiaye?
They even look similar and technically would be a nightmare for oppositions, both work hard so could double up when defending.
Everytime I've watched Ait Nouri I've been impressed but then I remind myself that Wolves defensively are shocking and he might be part of that problem.

We’d do very well to sign him class player and will end up somewhere else probably playing European football.

Guess the caveat is he's only actually played around 900 minutes in the league though. Been lethal in the cups though, 6 across the Italian cup and CL games in less than 500 minutes.

I would say West Ham of those linked as they're not even starting Evan Ferguson so still very much needed a CF in the mould of Antonio/Ings but much younger so Abraham fits that profile as he's not that still.

You never know with the Roma link.

I get the feeling though this summer will see 3/4 players not even on the radar coming in. Seen it already with Alcaraz. Played in the prem for six months but then went back to Brazil and was pretty much forgotten about. Moyes mentioned Lindstrom doing well for Frankfurt when West Ham had their Europa league run in 2022 so wouldn't shock me if we see a few come in who impressed him with teams he encountered in that period.

With Thelwell leaving this will be a summer window where he has the most power to make signings compared to just recommendations so think he'll use it with the new ground to pitch to prospective recruits.

Very good player, he'd be expensive and will probably have better offers, unfortunately.

Ait Nouri is the complete opposite to Myko. Lots of pace and looks exciting running with the ball but he can't defend at all one v one when around his own box.

I'm not sure he's a Moyes defender even if played as wing back. Going by the first spell he might look at Leif Davis more and back himself to improve his defensive positioning.

Not sure how much Chilwell is playing at Palace but he's getting his fitness up again so another who could be looked at given the vague January links.

I would swerve him. Very injury prone and on 100k per week

I’d take ait Nouris lack of defending over Mykolenkos lack of defending this myth he’s good 1v1 I don’t get. I don’t think he’s good at anything he doesn’t know whether to stay or press the man, poor on the ball and looks for the easy out every time it’s shocking he’s actually played so many games for us.
