Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Gomes is far too small for the prem. If he's free then he might be worth a gamble but I just can't see how he could work in the engine room without having the team built around him

He and Billy Gilmour are both 5'6 / 5'7 arent they...same as Paul Scholes :)

He's played DM, CM & ACM for Lille so, like you say he "could work" somewhere in those areas.
Yeah and Billy Gilmour famously didn't work in the prem. If he develops some of the best passing range we've ever seen with a knack for a goal like Scholes then let me know.

You've basically got to have a trait that's world class to make it work and having watched him, he doesn't. He's just neat and tidy.

I dont disagree.

If were going English it's Wharton or Rigg.

Otherwise I'd love to see this chap signed: https://www.whoscored.com/players/447689/show/lamine-camara

Gueye is the same height. Having a engine room with plenty of energy and intelligence, size doesn't matter
Agree just make sure is hitting the gym so can protect the ball aswell to deal with the power and strength of the prem. is about getting a mix of players adding some height and this lad would help us keep the ball better and start attacks

Any truth in the return of Richarlison rumours?
I hope not, I loved him when he was here, but his injury record since he left is atrocious. Far too many calf and hamstring injuries now sadly

Sorry, don't know what happened there?
Sometimes websites dont play nice and allow you to copy them.

I mean I love Richy and would probably still sign him, but we shouldnt touch him with the biggest bargepole ever.
