2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

Once the game opened he was the most dangerous player on the pitch. He seems less effective currently in compacted areas, but at 22 he has plenty of time to adapt all round. Will start most games next season if we sign him.
Yeah, I was hoping he'd have more of N'Diaye's ability to turn and go past players in those tight situations, but he didn't really do that yesterday. Played fine for me, but nothing "special" and his shooting was poor. Some promise there tho, and would still rather have him in that position than Doucoure (although that is a low bar atm!).

he carried the ball well and did turn a couple times in midfield. N'diaye is one of the best ball carriers in the league so that is a tough comparison. Excited about Charly but he will need to improve that final ball and don't see why he can't

Yes, it's great to see a player confident and willing to shoot. Not every shot goes in or is on target - seems silly to have to say it.

In the match threads there's a weird attitude that every player that isn't 100% perfect all the time is garbage. It's so weird

We’d win the league with that.
