My memory is a quality hat trick v Newcastle on his debut and then a winner at Upton park. We didn't have many there that day. I remember our fans singing "there's only 1 tony cottees" and someone turning to me and saying "thank god" must have been 30 years ago

Yep I remember his debut we all thought we'd struck gold, albeit for a British record transfer fee. Always liked Cottee, tried his heart out, like Beto does
