VAR

I hate that on every replay on tv of a shot on goal, they stop the action to show onside or offside and then the replay continues. I hate it. Let the guy with the flag call it. That’s it. It’s completely a momentum killer and it ruins the game. It clearly favours the top clubs.

Var has the ability to influence the outcome with angles and slowing down enough so that it looks the way they need to fit their narrative. So the bias continues towards the big teams so that nobody can challenge their position in the league.
This is the problem - no matter whether it's corruption or just incompetence, what happened today looks exactly like what people feared VAR would be - the VAR decided what the outcome of the match should be, and showed the ref the angles that got to that outcome. It's indefensible and it fuels all the suspicions people have over it.

United fans calming you don't fall forward if someone is pulling your shirt so it's a dive and no penalty... Calming no penalty and also saying the shirt was pulled.. The shirt pull foul happened first so it's a penalty what Young does after that is irrelevant, This is not American football fouls don't cancel each other out.

We were never scoring that pen anyway. 2 consecutive injury time goals in our favour against our 2 closest rivals and the 2 biggest cheats in the league is fantasy stuff.

We go into the next game heads held high, feeling cheated and aggrieved instead of heads down feeling sorry for ourselves.

Oh, and for all those GOBSH*TES singing going down in the 1st half. You got what you deserved. It's like you've never watched Everton or Man Utd before.
Why are they GOBSH*TES for that? Not one person singing that actually thinks United will be relegated.

For all their anti-scouse nonsense, they deserve every bit of urine taken for how far they have fallen.

It was a shirt pull and it was a penalty, and if that was Bruno "the refs best mate" Fernandes taking a tumble in the 95th minute it gets given no doubt about it.

My Manc mate text to say it a was a shirt pull and a pen and the officials got it wrong, but…. is Young’s fault for exaggerating.

It’s not enough to be fouled in footy now, you also have to know how to fall over in order to sell the foul convincingly to the ref that it wasn’t a dive.
