Why is the South Stand chopped in half? I thought it was meant to be a blue wall?

I'm fuming over that, and moaned on here a fair bit since they decided to split it in two. I don't think people get the significance of it.

a few things that's clear from other clubs who moved into a new build stadium are,

You'll always get those who love it and those who hate it
Some will never accept it
Most rival fans will call it a soulless corporate bowl
Most rival fans will only point out the negatives
No matter how well planned it was there will always be issues. it'll never be perfect
The cost of things is just life in general. £50 for a coffee will be normal one day.

It's so hard because goodison was at it's best for the derby you never want to say goodbye to that. But equally I can't wait to see the new stadium but it's gonna be so clean and smell so new it's gonna lack the authenticity of goodison. I just hope we can keep that pure authentic atmosphere

Some toilet issues:
Only 3 stalls per toilet
Not enough urinals on tonight’s evidence.
There are no hot air dryers only paper towels. These were gone by half time and the bins were overflowing - not a good look.

At section 210 the queue on the concourse and in the toilet itself was chocker at half-time. As suggested above it may be better to walk further away to a more distant toilet in future where it’s quieter.

Problem I found was that fans were just standing around in groups by the exit, went to where the bars were and was loads of room.

It will inevitably change everything. Hopefully for the best but so much will be lost

I can’t believe I’m alive to see a new Everton stadium, honestly.

The split tin the south’stand if the back row stand the odd few inches maybe get seen if a flags etc draped over it will look continuous that’s my take from tonight looking at it
You will be surprised how minimal it is and will be on match days

I didn't realise until earlier just how steep the stands really are. I'm glad Tarkowski scored the other night as he did, because someone's gonna get judo'd down about 7 flights of stairs in one go at BMD.
