I actually didn't think generally he played all that well. That clown across the park Salah was rubbish Wednesday night but still managed a goal and an assist just like Alcaraz did so hoping that it's a sign of a good player that when he isn't having a top game he still contributes well

There’s been no ego about it from Moyes, which I think is very good as far as the smooth running of football operations goes. He was very clear that Alcaraz came from Thelwell’s team.

It was in a press conference after he signed… Moyes basically framed it that he wasn’t a player he was looking to sign, but he became available and the recruitment team had him on their radar.

I got the distinct impression from it that Moyes had very little to do with it.

Does doucoure weight that pass to perfection like alcaraz did? I dont think he does. He scored aswell. Doucoure has a goal in him at times.
But im more interested in the pass to beto. Its seems nothing but over a season its that little bit of quality thats putting wins on the board. So its actually lots more than nothing. A perfectly weighted pass was worth 3 points.
I'll be disappointed if doucoure starts after the ban.

Yeah. Its not a dig at doucoure. Its not a crime to want players in and around the box who have a better touch and can pick out a pass more regular.
