2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I said it before. He had an excuse the past two seasons. The second we brought in Ndiaye, the excuses ran out. And Moyes did this without Ndiaye or McNeil. I feel like he lost the plot and started to resent the fans and as a result he also lost the players. The job was too big for him.

He was so useddd to adulation from Burnley fans, he didn't really understand why Evertonians weren't (by and large) falling over themselves to shower him with praise. Thought we were stuck up and under delusions of grandeur. That transmitted itself to the support and things were only going one way by the end.

Was it Jake with the header at the far post for that second goal? Can you imagine a full back in the box under Dyche?

Dyche coached football in a way that any coach in the entire league could, but they don’t because they tend to love football rather than hate it.
I'm trying to imagine a full back in the opposition half, never mind in the box.

Mykolenko scored a header in the same game last season.

We should bring him back for one game, once we're completely secure to avoid relegation, just to fathom how horrid the football actually was.
