If we took up the options on the loans we already have thats already £100m. i think mangala probably would get bought if hes fit for next season, does anyone know if his loan ended? Alcaraz and lindstrom £40m together. Broja considering we loaned him injured and us being everton wouldnt be suprised if we take the option on him aswell especially if Dom leaves. Takes us to atleast 70m. Id prefer to look at other targets tbf (alcaraz aside) but being everton we will buy a striker who's been out a season, and a cam playing on the right with like 1 or two assists

Mangala is levels below Garner. With Iroegbunam and Armstrong who need games while developing + Gana possibly extending...Mangala wouldnt even be first choice for long, if ever.

Broja is a no from me. People hyping him and Mangala based on limited things and clear limitations.

Lindstrom looks good under Moyes. However to compare with Ndiaye, there has to be end product.

Alcaraz if used as a 10 replacing Doucoure needs to be registering goals and assists.

Terrible source and wouldn’t normally post it, but this is A: The quality of player we’ll hopefully be going for, and B: now we’re armed with a Summer kitty these kind of links will come thick and fast which is exciting. We can normally write 99.9% of links off because we all knew we never had any money, but now there’s hope there that these kind of links will have a grain of truth to them! Summer is going to be very interesting for a change.

Cherki would be a great signing. Rather take a gamble on him than Lindstrom.

There are two at Lille awaiting moves this summer. Pacy striker and an English international midfielder.

Both would represent huge upgrades for Everton.

Strange that Lille didnt try and offload in Jan.

One I could see would be Delap actually.

He'd be quite an exciting one i think.

GK: Pickford / +1 / +1
LB: Mykolenko / +1
LCB: Branthwaite / +1
RCB: Tarkowski / O'Brien
RB: Dixon / +1
LM: Ndiaye / McNeil
CM: Iroegbunam / Gana
CM: Garner / +1
RM: +1 / +1
ACM: Alcaraz / Armstrong
CF: Beto / Chermiti / +1

9 players needed. 4 loans & 5 new signings

Targets like Wesley, Truffert, Rigg, Dibling and Delap would be nice. Not to mention David and Gomes on frees.

We will sign Lindstrom mate - he's a Moyes style player and Moyes isn't knee jerk to think the lad can't score as he knows him from at Frankfurt.
Dixon won't be out backup right back next season, he'll either go on loan or be sold. Well also need another in attacking mid, no way Moyes has Alcaraz and a very young Armstrong as the only options. Yeah can move another there like Tim or a left winger to cover but that just leaves us thinking elsewhere so no gain.

Wesley, Rigg and Dibling won't be targets, for starters two of them simply aren't developed enough to improve us and Moyes won't be spending the best part of 30m on a player who'll take a few seasons to develop enough to start.

We aren't in a position to be dropping that kind of money of a 18yo prospect mate.

And Moyes whilst he will use younger players likes to slowly integrate them over a few seasons into the main side.

You need to let the Lindstrom thing go. He hasn’t justified being signed at all.

Can pretty much guarantee anyone coming in will have to have the correct personality first and foremost.
I can see us trying to emulate Everton of 2008 personally. A back bone of players who put in a shift in every game, I think we have a few of these already, So a Felli type, a Pienaar, an Arteta, Cahill, Baines, Coleman and a Yak.? Regardless of who comes in, I want a team good on the ball so the tactics Moyes goes with will actually be realised.
Skillful fullbacks who are fast will totally change this side and a huge number 10 who can hold on to the ball, Can actually pass to an Everton player and also score.
I'm honestly really excited to see who comes through the door, Guaranteed they will be a better class of player than a Cleverly, an Alcarap or a McGeady.

I will just be happy that we actually have a War Chest.
Been years
I’m still nervous about this idea that we have a ā€œwar chestā€. I feel like the Premier league are going to screw us over somehow, either they will set the squad cost ratio so low that we can’t sign the players we need or they will say something like revenue from new stadiums and sponsorship cannot be used in the calculations.

It's a massive change. Going to take a while to gell. I would suspect, we'll again use up our loans. Strikers are the most difficult, I imagine that's were the money will be spent.

Not a huge fan of delap myself. He has a tendency to throw himself to the floor a lot. Something he must have learnt in the man city academy

Maybe mate, but Moyes will want him for next season - he's very much his style of player. He's got 14 games now and likelihood is he's gonna be starting them all now options just don't exist with Ndiaye going down. Here's hoping he finds his shooting boots between now and the lady game

Based on???

He’s playing because he has to, he has 0 goals 1 assist all season (against Tranmere). He hasn’t justified being signed at all. Moyes has banged on about the squad’s poor quality since he arrived and he falls under that category.

What use is a winger that doesn’t score or create?

Yet in the role he's been given this season he's excelling in the defensive role, can't break it down to pre Moyes post Moyes either but just know the eye test he's improved.

But he’s not a right-back so why should we care about that? When your defensive numbers are miles better than your attacking you’re not a good winger. He’s playing in front of a central defender as well so doesn’t even need to defend as much now. He needs to do a lot more. I know you love him for some bizarre reason though.
