Given a run in the starting line-up, which he should get now, he's a 10+ goals a season striker, something we have been crying out for for some time now.

If Beto even improves his footballing ability to average, he is a very decent player in this league.

It may be that we are now playing a bit more attacking and to his strenghts but it's quite damning for DCL in terms of the league.

Beto has 4 goals in <500mins. DCL has 3 goals in 1500mins.

Beto also has goals in the cup games.

Six in total in c. 800mins of football so one every 133mins. DCL has one every 527mins.

DCL should be the bench option when he returns and let go in the summer.

And, like Haaland, he's not going to be easily 'bounced' off the ball like DCL is/was countless times every game. He's the kind of striker that defenders hate nowadays. They much prefer the 'tippy-tappy' type, who they can bully all around the pitch. Not gonna happen with Beto...

Yes, and he gave Van Dyk Head a torrid time last night. I’m more impressed with how composed he is in one on ones, as has been said on here, he thrives on balls played in behind - unfortunately we haven’t played our forwards in behind until the last few weeks when moyes came back. Even when DCL is fit it’s his shirt to lose in my eyes.

Beto deserves to be starting from now on if he keeps playing the way he is and scoring. His movement is great and finishing. The more game time he has the better he will get. DLC when he’s fit should not automatically get a start he should come off bench and prove he deserves a start. I’m glad DLC is out so Beto has his chance and he is proving he deserves his starting position (obviously no choice too lol) Moyes is bringing the best out of him

He scores goals, long time since I've felt we have a striker that if he gets a chance he'll slot, with this lad we have that. Is he a great player - not even close, but is he a great finisher - yup.
