I think we made them look average.

They normally bully teams, give them a couple of knocks (they know the ref will protect them) and the team capitulates, and the media then creams themself at how brilliant they are.

You give it back to them and defend properly and then you get what happened last night.
Agree, apart from the last bit. Don't think their first goal was great defending, unchallenged and bad positioning was essentially a free header

Does Beto's recent goalscoring form look bad on DCL? I thought Dom was a much better finisher but I think my mind is changing. I don't think Dom scores that.
I think that the less you give Beto to do, the more effective he is.
His goals against Leicester and last night, his first touch of the ball is his shot.
He seems to struggle more when he has to take the ball into his stride, steady himself etc.

Lastly, I know a lot of people said Bradley should've been sent off. I personally don't think it was a stonewall second yellow. Thought Macca had more of a case of getting a red tbh

Yeah I agree with that actually

Van duck 🦆 is really one classless whiny and arrogant crybaby. He could just have said "gg"
He is always a cry arse after every Goodison derby, "Cup finals" and "celebrating like they've won the league".

It must be frustrating for him that their recent Goodison derby record is questionable. They haven't won here in their last 3.

What a game! Great send off for the Old Lady!

Quick Story:
Went in my local in South London (I’m a Shropshire exile) to watch the match. Atmosphere was muted, with no other blues attending, several Arsenal fans backing us and a few reds. As the game progressed I got a little excited, but nothing huge. As the last kick went in, I jumped up and then immediately apologised to a tepid ladies group. As the pitch fights began, everyone watched in awe and discussed how amazing the match was. The barman then proceeded to turn every screen off and commented that he couldn’t deal with the “aggressive atmosphere”. Absolutely bizarre! A red commented that she was “watching that” and was annoyed that she didn’t see the end! I guess the barman was a red? Anyway it was nice to see that the Derby caused chaos even in my small area of South London!
