See you for some more fun and games in May.

Virginia, Coleman, Mangala, Harrison & Broja i would expect to go off this squad list
Calvert lewin, Keane, Doucoure & Lindstrom may also leave/not be offered new terms.
Gueye may stay and Garner would need to be offered a new deal by the summer (clause in contract).

So upto 11 out of the 25 potentially going even without any teams coming in for the likes of Jarrad.

Big rebuild needed.

Doucoure and Virginia will stay another year as well I think

Virginia has a year extension clause
TBH I'd be offering Young, Doucoure AND DCL all contracts on 1/2 what they're earning (or less), and extending Virginia's contract by a year. if no takers then no dramas and thanks for your service.

Seamus offered a coaching role with the under 18s & Keggers, Broja, Harrison waved off into the sunset.

So - on the basis that Mangala is done for the season and the likes of Coleman, McNeil, DCL, Broja & Chermiti will be back in the fold within 4-6 weeks, the squad for the run-in is now looking like this: -

I think with no Mangala and Harrison Armstrong gone to Derby for the rest of the season, we're looking a bit light in CM. I'd expect that, if needed, Doucoure will probably drop into CM with Alcaraz stepping in, possibly McNeil when he's eventually fit again.

I don't think that looks too bad personally, at least until the end of the season.

In effect, we've got five players who can play right back, three or so left back, four centre back, at least four that could play 10, four or five could do a job at centre mid... five that could play either wing if needed...

The striker situation is the one that makes me sweat most... hopefully one of Chermiti, DCL or Broja can get fit and stay fit to support Beto.

I think Coleman and Doucs will be given another year tbh. Definitely need to get Gana and Garner tied down too.
Agree with Garner and Gana. Doucs not sure. But no way Seamus. Been a great servant but not been available much the last 2 seasons. A lot of wasted money tbh Think he will get a job as back room staff

I can’t see doucoure staying. I really
Hope not either.
Depends on how he performs for the rest of the season, if he plays like he did on saturday I think Moyes will want to keep him

He's on a big wage though, if he'd accept reduced terms for 1 year, i'd probably keep him, because of the amount of incomings that are going to be required

Yeah this is definitely Colemans last season, he knows it, and has already talked about coaching job - he's picking up little injuries every time he returns from another injury

We signed 9 players last summer, you are looking at 4/5 money signings, 2/3 free transfers and a couple of loans. We have now until the summer to plan for it. It really shouldn't be that difficult.
I reckon we'll play the "loan with option/obligation" card to the max next year. 2 domestic and 4 foreign, 3 or 4 first XI-ready perm signings and a minor assortment of freebies and youth.

Of those scheduled to leave I think Gueye is nailed on to be offered another year. Alcaraz and Lindstrom have the remainder of the season to play their way into being perm signings otherwise jib and look for better; with Lindstrom I have a sneaky feeling we'll send him back, then try to renegotiate a cheaper fee towards the end of the window.

Doucoure has come up with some BIG moments over the years, and I am fond of the big galoot but I really hope we let him go. He's an active hindrance to our attacking play, and isn't enough of a menace defensively to justify his inclusion.

Not a chance DCL stays.
