Entered the transfer window needing at least 2 in; 2 more get season ending injuries...TFG allow 1 loan signing in.

Think about it - not so much in terms of what it means for the rest of this season, but in terms of what that implies for the summer.

We will have more money to spend?

Love all the financial experts here who have clearly had tons of time to go over the club's books and know exactly what the situation is and what to do and who' to blame. Same shoite, different window. Would I like to see more signings? Sure. But maybe we're restricted by that sword of Damocles that's hit us twice already. Want to see if the third time really is the charm?

I personally don't think so. Lindstrom has now cemented the right wing and there are only 15 games left. Harrison has stunk the place out for at least 18 months and, unless Lindstrom gets injured, rightfully won't get a shot at an extended run in the team. Send Brylcreem Boy back to Leeds please.

Unfortunately an injury to any of Lindstrom, Beto or N’Diaye puts Harrison back into the team in all likelihood.

Hopefully McNeil gets himself back.

Truffert or Rohl would have both been good, and are the kind of signings that make sense long term. If those deals (or their like) can't be done now then best wait for summer.

January market is largely void of quality and overpriced. As I tell my team at work, "don't fight stupid with stupid".

I think we can very easily get another 3 victories at a bare minimum even with our injuries, which will obviously be enough to see us safe.

But we are only on 26 points, and you never know when you're going to pick up more injuries.

I think we all would have appreciated it a lot more if we didn't hear Moyes say he was confident of bringing in multiple new signings - he will have known the state of play with finances before he said that.

We should be alright with just 1 player in today, but it's a risk the club has been happy to take.

Let's hope Pickford or Ndiaye are available for every game for the next 6 weeks or so, as we will likely all but assure safety in that time if they remain fit.
