Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Sky have just said Broja back fit 4-5 weeks responding to treatment really well.
Calvert Lewin back before the end of the season and Chermiti ready shortly.

I reckon it's absolute bull what they're chatting.

They're willing to risk the next 5 games (6 if we beat Bournemouth) on having 1 recognised fit striker because they reckon that a) Chermiti will be back in 3-4 weeks (this was after Everton radio on Saturday saying he'd be at least 4 weeks) and a player who hasn't even scored a goal yet. Then they're now saying Broja could be back in 4 weeks but he'd barely played as it is so he'll be nowhere near match fit probably until April (if he can stay fit)

The Echo said (I've posted it 3 times) that Everton were confident that they'd done excellent work behind the scenes to ensure they'd get the players required. We're 7hrs away from bringing just the 1 in and pick any area of the Everton first 11 and we'll be 1 injury away from a) having no striker or b) having to bring in Harrison, Keane or Young into the starting 11.

It's not like they've only had this week to sort deals, it was blatantly obvious from around September onwards that we had massive issues that needed addressing.

Nothing, still only Alcaraz. Broja, Chermiti probably going to be back within or around a month. We go with what we’ve got

Entered the transfer window needing at least 2 in; 2 more get season ending injuries...TFG allow 1 loan signing in.

Think about it - not so much in terms of what it means for the rest of this season, but in terms of what that implies for the summer.

It's telling me.....nothing is happening.

Alcaraz and thats it.

Am content with that,More dosh for the summer window.

Too much to do in summer. We needed 3 this window, 2 would have been acceptable

Thats the issue with Dyche wanting to jump ship and Moyes coming in...cost us a big chunk of the window and a totally different player skillset i expect.
