Probably, although that’s not as awful a situation as it would have been at the start of the window. At least we’ve got a (admittedly paper thin) squad trying to win games now.

Just what we need, another slow one dimensioned over 30 years cart horse that will be on high wages that couldn't get into the Hammers or Forest side but good enough for Everton?

Ask yourself what does he offer? that the other poor one-dimensional player we already have in McNeill

He got in the West Ham team every week under Moyes so he rates him as did Hasenhuttl for many years.

I think with regards summer they'll be 5-6 new ones and five of them will be young types with Alvarez profile so I don't see the issue with getting in one experienced player in a key position who the manager knows and was trusting less than 12 months ago to play at the heart of his midfield.

He's struggled to get in a brilliant Forest midfield ahead of Elliot Anderson but nowhere near as washed up as say Kalvin Phillips is.
