I think we'll test the water for the likes of Walker Peters and Josh Brownhill.

I think we could try for a Fellaini type deal. A player we'd want in the summer, we might try an force it through tonight to avoid protracted shenanigans/gazumped in the summer.

bit of a complicated one this, us and Brighton linked with Sunderland Winger Tommy Watson, the sunderland manager had previously said that he couldnt leave unless they got a replacement. it now looks like Sunderland will sign Liveprool winger Jayden Danns. This could free up Watson to move

Looks like Brighton have their man.

Which makes sense because all their problems will be solved if they just sign another winger.

Yeah can see another move for a cm aswell but dont think have enough to get a fb with us prob looking for a wide forward who can do both roles cf aswell

It's much more like that Simpson episode where Homer becomes a boxer and nobody can knock him out as he's too thick headed for punches to register.

Eventually he gets airlifted out (threadbanned) by Moe (mods) to stop him getting more punishment.

As much as the Sky Sports type agenda would love to have you believe Everton spending money badly as the reason we've struggled - the stadium, previous board and Russia's war got us into the current situation. Sure, one window under Koeman we spent a bit of money. Like Fulham, Bournemouth and West Ham have since. And nowhere near the amounts Nottingham or Villa have.

Teams spend money, teams invest money into the playing squad - we haven't. The only team to not have done the last 4 years. Any team, like Wolves have seen - will struggle with that.

Our squad value for fees, including players we have on loan who we didnt actually spend is 19th from 20 teams.
We did sign too many average players on higher than average wages though, which hasn’t helped. Not least because we’ve then struggled to offload them.

But you’re right, it’s more than just misspending that got us here.
