Manchester United

So if you needed further proof of how much of a basket case this club is and how detached players are to reality, Rashford being called out by his manager for not even trying.

Yep that’s right, 300k a week to not even try,

This is up there with the time Tevez when he refused to come on for Man City.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a public exercise to force a player out as I have at Man Utd for Rashford, how many more articles about him do we need?
Desperate to get his wages off the bill....
Because according to their owners their a ticket price rise away from breaching psr

It doesn't mean joe tax payer is footing the bill. It's also the daily hate mail, so that's working against the story.

Government money (ie ours) projected to be used to pay off the freight terminal owners.

It’s just wrong but they’ll be quivering at the thought of £7bn projected “growth”

I read that fans surrounded Ratcliffe’s car after their last game in protest at the £66/ticket regardless of age (kid or pensioner no difference) and Ratcliffe said to them that it was ridiculous that OT tickets were cheaper than Fulham’s so they had to lump the hike.

Making friends wherever he goes …..

"The Old Trafford scheme is expected to use public money to move three rail freight terminals blocking the redevelopment."

There's a few ways to skin a cat, transport budget, amalgamating the terminals possibly into one, giving the old trafford development the go ahead means more businesses, more rates, more footfall, more draw to that side of manchester. There's a fair chunk of Salford that's practically derelict (or was last I walked through it). Don't rail operators pay a toll to use the lines? Modernising doesn't have to be a bad thing, keeping firms going the same. Long term planning that pays off consistently instead of short termism. It's on the glazers and ratcliffe anyway, want an answer by the end of this summer. Huge decision, we've been moving for 30 years.

He’s a Thatcher-ite so not exactly a shock like. Shame seeing a working class club (at their core) having a Tory as the owner
